Inspiration from Antiquity:

Marcel Wanders drew inspiration from his childhood memories of an antique decorated plaster ceiling in one of his former homes. He affectionately called it his “Skygarden.”

The design captures the essence of that celestial ceiling, allowing it to transcend time and space.

Suspension Luminaire:

The Skygarden Suspension is a pendant light that hangs gracefully from the ceiling. Its exterior appears as a simple, hemispherical shade—a minimalist form that conceals a delightful secret within.

Intricate Floral Design:

Inside the shade lies an intricate and delicate plaster cast floral pattern. When illuminated, this hidden garden comes to life, casting a mesmerizing glow.

The juxtaposition of simplicity and complexity creates a captivating visual experience.

Materials and Finishes:

• Hemispherical Diffuser: The mechanically-processed cast plaster diffuser is painted white inside, ensuring even light distribution.
• Outer Finish Options,choose from:

Compact Version

After the international success that Skygarden has been enjoying throughout the years, Flos now enriches its collection with a compact version that makes it suitable for smaller interiors or prestigious locations with limited spaces or low ceilings. The new version features a reduced internal plaster decoration with its ornamental loop. Despite the difference in size, Skygarden small leaves the magic intact: a fantasy of flowers, berries and leaves to admire on the ceiling, that special feature that makes it a timeless creation.
The finishes are white, black, matt back, gold and rusty brown. (see pics below)
